Cowan Heights Dental Centre’s CDCP in St. John’s

Maintaining good oral health is crucial for your overall health and well-being. Regular visits to a dental professional can lower the risk of tooth decay, gum disease, and other serious health issues like cardiovascular disease and stroke. However, a third of Canadians lack dental insurance; in 2022, one in four Canadians reported avoiding dental care due to cost. The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) aims to reduce financial barriers by providing access to oral health care for Canadian residents with a family net income below $90,000 who do not have dental insurance.

Cowan Heights Dental is proud to be a provider under the CDCP. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare.

To qualify for the CDCP, you must meet all eligible requirements. More information is available on the Canadian government website at

The application process is easy and can be completed on the Government of Canada website
